love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication she thought, and started straightening her hair. she made sure that the short hair on top of her head was pin straight. that was the way it looked best. she grabbed one of her hair elastics and put it half up, half down. she smiled at herself knowing that her make-up from the day had completely gone off, but just putting on a little mascara and cover up was all she needed. she checked herself in the mirror once more and put on her favorite necklace. it was one that corine had gotten her of a dancer. it was silver and it was her favorite ever. since she was a dancer, and corine knew that she didn't want to do anything else with her life, she had gotten it for her. siobhan got her a music note necklace she believed, and she knew that corine loved it. she ran out of the dancer's cabin, but started walking down the long ways to the artist's cabins. if she had ran, someone would've seen her, and she would've been all sweaty and everything. that wasn't something she wanted to have in front of mike. she would've been embarrassed beyond belief, and his opinion mattered the most to her. finally getting up to the cabins, however, she knocked on the door lightly, hoping that someone else didn't answer it. she bit her lip softly and looked around her to see if anyone else was out by the cabins. but she didn't see anyone and hoped that she wasn't supposed to be out. she was a person for the rules when it came to the campground, since she wanted to come back as a counselor here. but she didn't think it was too late for someone to be out. but then again, she didn't check the time before she came over. let's just hope he didn't blow her off. she'd be crushed. Ahh, he was glad to have a friend here who actually had a sense of humor, much like himself. He had been pretty happy with camp so far, nice people, fun activities, and he had been getting plenty of time to work on his art. It actually was rather amazing. Mike sighed, sitting up on his bed and glancing at the clock. 8:48. Well he had certainly expected it to be later than that. He was dressed in what he had worn for painting--a musky green t-shirt and a slightly old pair of jeans. Certainly Sio wouldn't expect too much out of him. He frowned, was it worth the effort to change? No, not really. He was a rather lazy kid, and it wasn't like he was going out in public, Sio knew him well enough to not care. Besides, she was also coming to visit his floor. The boy ran his fingers through his blonde hair, thinking about the aim conversation that he had just had with her. She was one of the first people he met here, and she was definitely a nice girl. He looked around the empty cabin, wondering where everyone else was. There wasn't anything special going on tonight, was there? A sudden knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. Mike contemplated actually getting up and opening the cabin door, but since he knew who was there, there wasn't too much of a reason to do so. "Come in, Come in!" he hollered, scooting down to the very end of his bed, his eyes fixed on the door. love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication she said, then sat on the floor in front of his bed. "i came to give your floor some attention." she said it like he didn't know about the conversation they just had. she gave him a small smile and put her hands on the floor. "oh yeah. and there was something about hanging out with you?" she let a small laugh escape her lips as she put her hands on the floor to support herself. she knew she could joke around with him, but she knew that she didn't want to say anything to make it seem like she hated him. if she ever wanted a relationship with him in the future, she needed to make sure that he knew she was just fooling around when she said things like that. or else everything will just fail her. she started to play with her dancer necklace. the one thing that she always did when she was thinking. her eyes were fixated on the mattress that was right in front of her, and she bit her lower lip lightly. she thought about her sister, and how she had came to this camp to be a dancer too. and yet, her parents didn't totally ban her from their lives. but was natalya as into dancing as siobhan was? she doubted it. natalya probably just told them that it was a hobby, and that she was going to be a doctor when she got older like her parents wanted her to be. perfect little girl she tried to be. siobhan hated that quality about her. and yet, she loved her sister to death. siobhan shook her head and looked at him getting all thoughts of her parents out of her head. usually those thoughts led to tears, and that was something she was not going to let happen right now, especially in front of mike. the dark haired girl felt her phone vibrate. she sighed, knowing that she had just gotten there and someone was trying to disturb her already. she opened it up quickly, just to find out it was from one of her cabin-mates. 'where are you? i wanted to show you my dance!' it said. damn, why did everyone have to go to her if they were having trouble with dance? had a life, somewhat, and she had her own dance to perfect. she couldn't help everyone out all the time. she let a low moan escape her throat as she threw her phone away from her. then she looked back up at mike. "so what's up?" she asked him, not even giving that girl a second thought. she had more important things to do right now, and that was hanging out with mike. no matter what anyone said about it. "But Sio, my floor is ugly..my wall and I on the other hand...". He chuckled, scooting back on the bed. He did enjoy spending time with Siobhan, she kept things pretty entertaining for him. Mike yawned, stretching out on the bed, still watching Siobhan. "Last time I told you what was up you made fun of me," he laughed, raising an eyebrow. "Well I was staring at the ceiling a moment ago..." he said with a shrug. "I guess I like staring at inanimate objects.". The kid laughed as his own joke, allowing his arm to fall over the edge of his bed. He rolled over to the very edge, staring at Sio. "My floor has had enough attention," he stated, nodding his head. He paused however when the girls phone vibrated. She must be rather popular. He sighed, watching her open the phone, then snap it shut. Must not have been a very important person. "I guess it wasn't the President?" He cocked his head to the side, hanging halfway off of the bed. love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication she said, letting her hand move along the floor as she touched it with her fingertips. she looked at him after her eyes had been on the floor for a while, and gave him a shy smile. she turned her head around and looked at all of his walls. "well, i don't think your walls are that attractive. and you're almost up to your floors attractiveness. but something draws me to your floor more." she changed her position on the floor so that her stomach was on the floor and her hands were holding up her head. her feet were up off the ground because if she had her knee caps on they floor, something weird would happen. they liked to move on her. probably because she danced so much. she laughed again. "i didn't laugh at you! i said your wall must be attractive didn't i? i guess i was wrong though. your floor is much better," she said. then she just shook her head at the ceiling comment. he neglected his floor so much. poor thing. it needed the attention. then he said something about his floor having enough attention. "i don't think it has had enough attention. your ceiling and walls get way more attention then your poor floor. but, are you getting jealous?" she asked, raising her eyebrow slightly. it would make her happy to know that he wanted attention from her, seeing as she wanted the same attention from him. but she couldn't be too sure as to what he was implying underneath their on-going joke. "it wasn't the president. it was one of my friends asking if i could help them with dance. ugh. i have more important things to do..." she said, covering her face with her hands. her life was so hectic. dancing at 4 in the morning, then doing actual learning and tutoring for the camp. having fun. and then dancing more. helping people on her own time. she barely made time for anyone. she had skipped her date night dancing session so that she could have a relaxing night. and she was still doing that with mike. she was happy to be in his presence, since he was just an all around fun person to be around. His floor really couldn't be that pretty now could it? He rolled his eyes, laughing at the little joke that they had now. Besides, he was most definitely more interesting than that floor. She must just be crazy. "Alright so you didn't laugh, but i'm sure you were making fun of me in your head!". He looked over at her with a nod, before a grin spread across his face. Besides, his walls and ceiling deserved more attention than his floor. The floor was so..bland. But those white walls were so..oh forget it. "I really promise you my floor gets plenty of attention. I mean I do walk on him all the time.." The boy sat on on the floor, crossing his arms across his chest. "I am a bit jealous, this is definitely no fair. My floor is not supposed to be the one who gets all of the visitors and attention." He smiled, glancing back down at the floor. Stupid floor had to be so awesome. "Oh..well I only accept calls from the President," He frowned as she rested her head in her hands. He had the opposite problem--his art wasn't too time consuming, and he found himself sitting in his cabin daydreaming more often that anything. "No duh you have more important things to do," he started, staring straight at her. "It's about time you spend some time with me. I promise you my floor won't cry too hard." He chuckled, uncrossing his arms and leaning his back against his bed. love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication jealous." she said, and smiled. butterflies went through her stomach as she watched him. he had a wonderful smile, and them hanging out was probably better than anything that corine could ever get her. he was a sweet boy, and definitely someone she could joke around with. which was a good thing because she liked funny guys. but she knew that there had to be a time when people went from funny to serious. and if they couldn't make the transition, then siobhan really couldn't like someone. because she needed someone who could cheer her up, but she needed someone who could help her if her parents decided that they were going to do something to upset her, again. and if she didn't have anyone besides corine, and she needed more than just one person. "i..." she said, pointing her finger at them. when she realized she was, she put her hand down into her lap saying, "can't deny that..." she smiled lightly, but then said. "but i still love you!" if only he knew how true that was, she thought to herself. she smiled light at his explanation. "oh. it's totally fair. and i don't think your floor gets enough attention. with your wall and ceiling always getting your attention. poor thing. she pet the floor like it was an animal, and it had lost it's parents. she laughed lightly, knowing that she probably would look like a freak to anyone else. but to them, it was just an inside joke. one that siobhan would never let go of. she looked up at him as he said that it was time for her to spend time with him. "you have to promise me that you'll pay attention to him though," she said, smiling. she sat up on the floor and scooted over and sat next to him, resting her back on his bed like he was doing. she moved her legs so they were off to her side, away from mike. that way her skirt was sitting properly on her body and she wasn't revealing anything. she'd be very embarrassed if that happened, and she didn't want to embarrass herself. not today anyway. she thought about their conversation again online, knowing that she had promised to teach him to slow dance, and he was going to teach her to draw stick figures. it was going to be an interesting night. Ah she was so amusing, and at least seemed to be okay with his random jokes. Most people would never have laughed when he said that he thought his wall was beautiful. In fact, they probably would have asked him if he was high or something. But she was different, and he actually liked that. It was a nice change to finally have someone who could accept him for who he was. He was definitely looking forward to being able to get to know her even better. The boy nodded his head, blinking slowly and breathing in and out. "You better watch out, I'm on to you." he laughed, staring down at the floor. Well this was a much better way to spend his evening than sitting around all alone. "I really don't think you know what you're talking about. Honestly, I assure you that my floor gets enough attention. He's actually quite antisocial, not gonna lie." Mike cracked a smile, running his hand along the floor. Well I mean it was a smooth floor, but still. Mike bit his lip, making it look like he was thinking about something. "Alright, I promise..." he mumbled, simply trying to please her. Certainly she should know that he wouldn't pay that much attention to it, after all, had she not noticed how amazing the walls were? Maybe she was stranger than he had first believed. He didn't actually think she was weird, but still, it was a funny thought. He nodded as she moved towards him, looking over at her for a moment. "It's about time," he exclaimed, shifting his body so that he was facing her completely. Now they she had finally focused her attention on him, they could actually have a conversation. Either that or start on their mission, learning to dance and learning to draw. He personally didn't really want to learn to dance--who likes getting all sweaty and having to move around a ton? But, if he was going to get to teach Sio how to draw, Mike was sure that he would have to let her teach him something too. "So you, what shall we be doing tonight? Maybe drawing some stick figures?" He grinned, pulling his knees up to his chest. love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication she said. her statement was a double standard. of course she didn't doubt that he liked her as a friend, but she wanted him to like her as more than that. much more at that fact. but she couldn't push it. she would never admit her feelings unless he had admit his feelings first. that was how she always was, because she knew that if she tells him first, then she'd be vulnerable to anything. anything being hurt, happiness, regret. anything could go wrong. and she didn't want anything to go wrong. she wanted him to like her, was that so much? probably not to her, but to other people, of course it was. she just shook her head at his promise, and then smiled when he said it's about time. she grabbed the back of her hair and pulled out the elastic that was holding it together. she shook it lightly, then pulled it back into a messy bun on the back of her head. she knew it probably wasn't the most attractive thing in the world, but it would do. "don't think that you're going to get out of dancing!" she said, looking into his eyes. "actually, i think we should start with that." she gave him a light smile and stood up. she stood in front of him but then cautiously took one step back, just in case she was close enough to see up her skirt. who knows what could happen in a skirt. she extended her hand for him to take it. "come on. it's just slow dancing. it'll be okay." she gave him a slight puppy dog pout, just enough to make him give in. hopefully he would. [/ul]

What did she think he hated her? That was most definitely not the case. She was so entertaining and down to earth—unlike so many other people. He laughed slightly, mostly to himself, as she took her hair out and then put it back up in a messy bun. Now look what he got himself into. Dancing was most definitely not his thing, and he would probably just end up injuring himself, or worse yet, her. He did have hopes up until that moment that he wouldn’t have to dance, but looks like there was no way she would let him weasel his way out of this one. But why did they have to start with dancing? Now that was no fair! He would have to embarrass himself before he got to have his fun, and teach he how to draw some stick figures. Eh, it was worth it—at least he got to spend some time with her. He bit his lip as she stood up, refusing to budge from his own spot on the floor. “I’m sure that you don’t want to get yourself hurt teaching clumsy me how to dance,” he said, trying to get out of this. But the puppy dog pout she gave him was just too much. If she really wanted to do this so badly he would go along with it. Besides, giving it a try couldn’t hurt, could it? ”If I die though…” He cut himself off, reaching his hand up and slipping it into hers. He stood up, looked at her for a long moment. ”Okay, lets get this over with.” [/ul] • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • STATIC ON YOUR FREQUENCY electrical storm in your veins RAGING AT UNREACHABLE GLORY straining at invisible chains • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •

love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication she said. it seemed like they were talking about an animal of some sort. but they weren't. they were talking about parts of his cabin. weird, she knew that, but what could you do? they were having a good time at least, and that was one of the main things that she liked about hanging out with him. they were alike in a lot of ways, except for some minor details. but she knew that they didn't need to have everything in common to have fun. their differences is what made everything that much more fun to do. she smiled as he put his hand into hers, butterflies filling her stomach again. she pulled him over to an empty area of the cabin, that way neither of them could get hurt. the only way siobhan could get hurt was if he stepped on her feet. which was quite the possibility, but she wouldn't mind. she was about to slow dance with him after all, so she was content with whatever happened after that. she thought for a second, knowing that they needed music, but they she didn't know exactly where she was going to get it. she didn't see an ihome. but he did have a computer. "where can we play music?" she asked, hoping that he knew his room more than she did. if he didn't it would be kind of sad. [/ul]

He thought back to the time he was in Georgia, visiting some old friends; he was probably only around the age of 13. He spent quite a bit of time with a girl and boy who were both around his age. They spent the nights hanging out in the woods, sharing stories and laughing in the dark. Without his knowledge, the girl started to form a liking for him. She gave him plenty of hints—always hanging on top of him, never wanting him to leave her, and yet he never actually noticed it himself. It wasn’t until the girl’s brother informed Mike of the crush, that he actually realized what was going on. Simple enough, he doesn’t pay much attention to details like that. Mike smiled as Sio began to laugh. She obviously didn’t understand that his floor was quite a player. ”You know, he’s a know flirt,” Mike mumbled with a shrug. ”You’re really better off with me,” he added. His smiled grew wider as he stared at her, thinking quietly to himself. He hadn’t had this entertaining of a time with a person for quite a while. His friends back home were getting all uptight—thinking about colleges and what not. He actually really missed being able to just joke around with people and actually have a good ‘ol time. He gripped tightly onto the girls hand as she pulled him over to the empty part of the cabin. Placing his other hand on top of hers, he looked her in the eye, ”If I die from this you’re gonna regret it!” Sio seemed rather keen on the idea of teaching him to dance. He didn’t want to break her heart or anything, but what was he to do when he kept stepping on her toes? He would just have to try his hardest not to do so. He could hopefully control his clumsy self enough to avoid that. He wasn’t entirely sure if he knew what slow dancing was, but then again, he thought he did. That was where you just kinda shifted back and forth slowly, right? Well he was soon to find out at least. He shifted his thoughts as she asked where they could play music. Music..music…wait..where could they play music? ”Uhmm..in the magical music player..?” he asked her with a shrug. It was rather sad that he himself didn’t know the answer. His laptop was quite capable of playing music, but the boy didn’t actually think about that. He’s oblivious. love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication she said, a smile erupting on her face. "well, i guess he had me fooled. i think i'm going to stay with you." she let out a light laugh at that, and moved herself so she was sitting on his bed. it was much more comfortable to her, and it made it way easier to sit. her legs didn't have to be at an awkward angle on her side or anything of the sort. now she remembered why she didn't wear skirts that much. they were hard to deal with and all that jazz. but her shorts were all ready to be washed, and her mother told her to pack a skirt, just in case she had to get dressed up for something or another. well, since it was the only thing left that could keep her cool on a hot day, she decided to have worn it. she regretted it now of course, but it did match pretty well. she laughed lightly when he had no idea where they could get music. it was funny how he had no idea, in his own cabin. it was most likely true that his computer had some sort of program to play songs in, whether be itunes or some old fashioned thing. she looked up at him and then said, "do you mind if i look at your music on your computer?" she asked him. but she didn't even wait for an answer before going over there and looking. her hand slipped out of his, suddenly regretting the loss of contact, and she opened up his computer. she found his music library and opened it. she found a song that was familiar to her, and she pushed play, getting up and putting the laptop down. she made the sound loud enough so that they could hear the music, and then she went back over to him. "don't think i'm going to teach you that cruddy slow dance that everyone does," she said, meaning the slow dance where the girls wrapped their arms around the boy's neck, and the boys the girl's waist. and then they just swayed, not even really dancing. they'd be doing the same thing not swaying. just standing there. it disgusted her to see that. she put his hand on her hip, smiling, and put her hand on his shoulder. "we're going to be doing some real dancing" she grabbed his hand again, letting it sit in his like she had imagined him doing many times before. and she waited for him to be ready. the song was already going, even though they hadn't been dancing. she looked up into his eyes and said, "you ready?" [/ul]

He looked up at the ceiling, blinking slowly. He couldn’t decide if she actually was laughing at his jokes—or just trying to humor him. Really it didn’t matter the least bit to him, but it would be nice to know. But asking her would probably just offend her, so he chose to keep this one to himself. He’d figure it out..eventually..hopefully. He shifted his eyes back to her as she asked for permission to get onto his computer. Well as long as this wasn’t secretly all just a plot to sneak on and learn his deep dark secrets it was fine with him. He grinned as his own thoughts—which was probably rather weird—and nodded at her. Though, it’s not like she had actually waited for his answer, she was already on his computer by the time he had agreed. Someone was eager. He smiled though, impressed with her enthusiasm. People weren’t normally as excited about teaching a clumsy guy to dance as she was. He let his hand drop down to his side, watching her as she hovered over his computer, obviously picking a song. Innocence by Avril Lavigene? Or so he thought. He narrowed his eyes as she came back over to him, the music playing. When she commented on how she wasn’t going to teach him the slow dancing everyone else does he frowned. This was sounding like more work than he had bargained for. “This better now be dangerous,” he chuckled, staring straight into her eyes. He allowed her to move his arms to the right place, waiting until she asked if he was ready before actually realizing that he really was going to have to do this. He nodded, “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be,” he laughed, grinning at the girl. love is just a chemical creation synthetic sensation me you and my medication , she said, giving him a light smile. you're the only one that can open it now anyway, she thought. she then let the thought slip from her mind, seeing as she would probably be thinking things like that for the whole night. and zoning out would not be something she could do every time some thought came into her head about him. it would be very bad, since he usually preoccupied her mind quite often. and if she spaced out with every thought, she wouldn't be able to dance ever. nor would she be able to pass in school, or even sit here and have an...interesting conversation with him about his floor. of course, she managed to keep her head clear when it was needed, so she wouldn't embarrass herself in front of him. "what could be dangerous about dancing? you're with me," she said smiling. she noticed how conceited that statement sounded. she suddenly regretted saying it, because she knew that she wasn't a conceited person. she had been telling herself that she was a horrible dancer, and everyone knew that she was probably one of the best senior dancers at the campground. she would never believe anything any of them said. even her best friend, which was really rare for her to not believe her. but she just believed that she didn't have any talent in dancing. even though she wanted to make it out in the world, she felt that she might have to listen to her parents, and become a doctor. she knew that corine would not be happy if she chose that path for her life, but she didn't know if she had another choice. what if she just couldn't make it as a dancer? she smiled as he said that he'd be as ready as he'd every be. "good," she said and started moving her feet. the song had just started in the first chorus. she started simple, since she knew that he was not too keen about learning to dance. she didn't care if he stepped on her feet, or if he made a fool of himself. she cared that she was actually dancing with him. two of her most favorite things in the world were being put together right now, right in front of her. she kept her eyes on his face the whole time, since she didn't need to look down at her feet. but she knew that he might need to look at hers. so she kept herself patient and calm, knowing that she wouldn't be able to do anything if she was all worked up. she watched his face as she wondered what he was thinking while they were dancing.
