• • • • •give me envy give me malice give me your attentionGIVE ME ENVYgive me malice baby give me a break• • • • • siobhan had never really gone to the lake. out of all her time here, she had spent it dancing. she didn't have any time for anything if she was going to get that scholarship. and if she didn't get the scholarship at the end of the year, her parents were going to say 'i told you so,' and send her off to some doctor school. she didn't want that. maybe her sister did, but not her. she wanted to be different. she wanted to show her parents that she could make a living off of dancing. that was why she was working so hard lately. even if she did hurt herself a lot and mess up all the time. she knew that she couldn't let this dance get to her. she had to get it perfect. and she had to keep it that way. messing up was not an option anymore. if she was going to get into dancing, and if she was going to become a counselor here, then she had to make sure that everything was right. nothing could ever go wrong, never again.
siobhan was sitting right next to the water, her legs were getting covered with the cool liquid as the tides moved in. her hands were holding herself up from behind her, and her head was tilted back towards the sun. her orange polka-dotted bikini was all that she was wearing, and she wouldn't be surprised if people saw her and thought she was a freak. she was used to it after all. the dance bag that siobhan brought everywhere with her was laying a few feet behind her on the sand, and everything she needed was in there. sun tan lotion, sun glasses, towel. everything. she had never unpacked it though, so she had her dance stuff in there too. like her ipod, dance costume, and a travelling music. player to play her music in when she needed to practice. that didn't bother her though, since it was like another part of her, all her crud. it was just the type of person she was.
siobhan got up and walked over to her bag, pulling out her sunglasses and putting them on her face. she grabbed an elastic for her hair as well and pulled as much of the hair as she could back into a bun. a few of the strands still lay across her face, but it would do. she grabbed a shirt from her bag and through it on, and then grabbed her ipod. there wasn't a better time than right now to rehearse her dance, right? so why shouldn't she. she put her ipod on a band that she had for it, and put the band on her arm. turning it to the dance mix she made, she started doing the moves to the song. her eyes were closed as she did so, that way strangers couldn't get to her by giving her odd looks, or she didn't have to see the awkwardness of where she was rehearsing. all she knew is that she wanted to dance, and that's exactly what she was doing.

Jason walked slowly along the beach, not really paying attention to what was going on, he was barefoot and enjoying the feeling of the sand between his toes while plodding along. Take solace in the little things right? The teenager almost cracked a smile, but it was a near miss. He still wasn't okay with being here, but he had to admit that the beach wasn't the worst place to be. He was wearing black Tripp cut-offs today, essentially shorts and he had decided not to go the route of chains today. They were closely followed by a plain black shirt giving him quite the Gothic appearance, although there was no make up to be spoken of. Jason was carrying his prized possession, a digital Canon Rebel camera with a new lens with the full intention of getting a shot of the near approaching sunset, of potentially a few portrait shots.
It didn't take him long to realize that he would have little to no chances of finding a decent shot if he continued walking while watching the ground. Jason looked up and around scanning the relatively abandoned beach wondering where everyone was. The tide was almost fully in, the only person notable was a girl dancing practically in the waves. Well that's interesting... His thoughts rushed past him as he found himself staring, not that it appeared to matter. Dancing with your eyes closed...? In public no less... His eyes wandered over her, catching on her black hair and leaving him with tantalizing memories of his sister's appearance. As his searching reached her feet, or more-so the small bit he could see of her lower legs due to the water, he spotted a rather soaked bag drifting slightly in the tide.
Everything screamed at him to keep walking, it was like an audible command, but his eyes kept trailing back to her hair, would her eyes be the blue-ish Grey as well? Only one way to find out...
Jason's approach was less that quiet as he tried to move around the water's edge, her iPod was not exactly helping with his new found attempt to make contact. "Heeey... Uhm..." His voice trailed off quickly, she continued her dance. He sighed before moving into the water, his ankles quickly objecting, a shiver ran down his spine as he tentatively reached out and prodded her shoulder waiting for the resultant glare.

• • • • •give me envy give me malice give me your attentionGIVE ME ENVYgive me malice baby give me a break• • • • • siobhan was doing so good with her dancing. she had finally gotten it down perfect. the only rough spot she had to work with was the end, which was one of those big rough spots where she always messed up on. she was almost at the end, and a smile erupted on her face. almost there and...someone tapped on her shoulder. "ugh!" she yelled pulling out her head phone. she turned around and saw a boy standing there. he couldn't be someone at the campground because siobhan had never seen him before. unless he was just new this year. she shook that from her memory and shut paused her ipod. she was wondering what was so important enough that he had to interrupt her dancing. it better be very important, or else this stranger was going to die. if there was one thing siobhan didn't like it was when someone interrupted her. unless someone died, or siobhan was involved in some critical way of course.
she let her hand rest on her hip as she jutted it out. one of those things that she did when she was impatiently waiting. this boy was someone new to siobhan. no one made siobhan impatient. her patience was very high, seeing as she had to work with little kids throughout the day. and when you try to teach them to dance all they want to do is turn on the music and do their own weird dances. the brunette was even like that at one point. but then she just grew a little older. and she actually knew she wanted to dance. and even though she wanted to dance when she started to grow up, the people around her didn't want to. it was a hobby for them, and to siobhan, it was her life. she wouldn't get out of this camp without that scholarship. and thanks to this boy that was in front of her, she might not ever get her scholarship.
siobhan stared at him with her chocolate brown eyes. "yes?" she finally asked, moving her arms so that they were crossed over her. she really wasn't happy right now, and nothing could make it worse. if only this stranger knew anything. he'd knew that interrupting her probably wasn't a good idea, or that him just standing there and not explaining himself will make him explode. she looked behind him though, and didn't see her bag. she was frantic. all her dance stuff was in there. and if her costume got ruined she'd be screwed for the final performance of her dancing career at camp real cali. she didn't want that to happen. she waited for him to talk before freaking out though. she didn't want to be rude, even though when she talked to him there was an icyness in her voice.
