- - - - fashion sense, Mike often pays close attention to fashion. He typically wears light to medium wash jeans, and either a colored polo shirt, or some type of collared shirt. He adores colors in his outfits, so his shirt is almost always a solid color, or strips of different colors. To Mike accessories are key. He always has on his special necklace, and loves sunglasses. Scarves and belts are pretty chill too.

[+]Kind: The boy completely understands the saying, "treat others the way you want to be treated." He knows that kindness goes a long way, and tries his hardest to always be nice to everyone who at least deserves it. He's been known to go out of his way to help others, even complete strangers, and tries to do so often. Hey, you can never be too kind, can you?
[-]Stubborn: Once Mike forms an opinion it's not very likely that he will be willing to change it. He's a stubborn person, especially when it comes to changing his beliefs, or doing something that he doesn't want to do. He's not the bratty six year old type of stubborn, but more of the independent, I believe what I want type of stubborn. It can get annoying to other people, especially when he refuses to compromise with his friends.
[+]Funny: The sense of humor on this kid is amazing. He always knows what to do to make others smile and laugh. In fact, he loves seeing people laugh at what he has to say. He's not good around people who can't take a joke--because it's hard for him not to make jokes. All of his friends must always remember that if he makes fun of them he's just doing it lightly for a laugh, he doesn't actually mean it.
[+/-]Independent: It could be good, or it could be bad, but Mike enjoys being rather independent. He hates it when people tell him what to do-whether they be his parents or his friends. He can make decisions on his own, and he makes sure that others know that. Mike often times get frustrated when people start butting into his life, trying to get him to do this or that.
[-]Oblivious: Mike can often be oblivious to things going on around him. He's been known to sometimes be in his own little world, unaware of his surroundings. He isn't the best at determining peoples feelings, and thus doesn't know how to react around them. He may not notice if someone is angry at him, or crushing on him without someone just straight up telling him.
[+/-]Charming: Mike has always been a people magnet, so to speak. He's never had trouble making friends, and as far as he's concerned, he is rather popular. He loves being able to be around so many friendly people, however it can get to his head. He can sometimes be rather egocentric, even if he doesn't mean to be.
[+]Loyal: He'll always be there for his friends, no matter what. He'll be loyal to you from the day he meets you, and only turns away from people if they give him multiple reasons to do so. He believes that every person deserves to be trusted, unless they really screw up big. Though, he doesn't hold grudges for very long, and typically he can forgive people who mess with him.
[-]Temper: If you are one of the few people who actually succeed in completely pissing Mike off then you really are in for it. Though he is typically kind and loyal, he can have a very big temper, and be a complete jackass if he believes that you deserve it. He knows how to tell people off, and does it very well, though that skill isn't needed very often. On the rare occasion that he actually is mad it is best just to stay away from him until he has a chance to cool off.

- - - - overall history, On March 2nd, 1992, a young couple experienced a miracle. Or at least, that's what Mike sort of wishes had happened. Actually, nine months before the aforementioned date, two irresponsible, stoned college students hooked up in the backseat of a junky old car, and on March 2nd, 1992, they paid the price for it.
The birth of Mike changed the lives of the two college students. For the last two years of their college career the two juggled between school and the raising of their child. Coincidentally, around three months after they graduated and had settled into a decent home, Collette was pregnant again. And so within nine months, the young couple had completed their family.
By the time Mike was five his father had be a lawyer for 3 years, and was becoming rather well known. His mother was a local artist, not famous, but still good. However his parents soon began drifting apart.
Mike had always wanted a rollercoaster life, but he never got one. When his parents did officialy seperate he felt a slight twinge of jealousy that his shy, timid younger brother got to move to Burbank with his mother, while he was left in boring old Lampasas, Texas. He would have killed to live somewhere exciting like that. And so at the tender age of five he learned how to make his own excitement. He had always been very adventurous--he was always the first to climb to the top of the new park equipment, the one who stomped on the wolf spiders that got into the classroom, and the first boy in his school who braved all the rollercoasters at the local theme park. As he got older however, such trivial excitement began to lose its charm.
When he was seven his father took him and moved to San Diego. By then he was very wealthy, and could afford a nice house, and many luxuries for himself and his son. Mike got used to getting whatever new toy he wanted, however he didn't get to see his father too often. At school he began to enjoy the art class that the second graders attended three times a week. He would come home wide-eyed, eager to tell his father about the latest drawing or painting he had made.
His father wasn't too keen with Mike's love for art. When Mike brought up his dream of being an artist, at the age of eight, his father went balistic. Collette had always talked about her dream to be an artist, and as far as he could tell, nothing good came out of a major in art. He wanted his boy to follow in his footsteps, and be a lawyer. Afraid that Mike would turn out to be incompetent and a complete failure, he pulled him out of public school and entered him into a private school. Mike of course hated it. He hated his father for not letting him pursue his dream, and he hated his boring life in California.
But nonetheless, Mike kept his head held high, and worked as hard as he could in an attempt to prove himself. From the age of eight to the age of ten he attended the private school. When he reached the age of eleven, and was ready to move on to middle school, his father enrolled him in Saint Joseph's Boarding School. Excited for a change such as this, Mike went off to the school. He fell in love. It was an elite school for all boys from wealthy families, ages eleven to eighteen.
And so his fasination with art continued to grow at Saint Josephs. He spent hours in the studio, working on different paintings and drawings. People were always amazed with the boys dedication to his artworks. When Mike was fifteen, his father was relocated to Sacramento, California, and Mike was pulled away from his arts and school once again to move.
He was sent to a public school now, and finally succeeded in convincing his father to let him pursue his dream to be an artist. Happier than ever, Mike ended up meeting his best friend, Emily Bella Philips. She was a sweet girl, and they began hanging out all the time.
Now at seventeen, his father agreed to allow him to go to Camp Real Cali, along with Emily. Full of enthusiasm, Mike packed up his stuff and rushed away to the camp. He is absolutely in love with it, and glad to be making even more friends. Though, he has noticed something strange about Emily. There's something going on that he isn't telling her, and he can sense it. But he's not too concerned at the moment--he's here to have fun, not worry about silly stuff like that.
