Camp Real Cali can't possibly be complete without it's own messed up love triangle. Corine Ray and Jay Scott dated a few months before the summer, but Corine broke it off because school and everything that was going on in her life at the time made her unable to keep the real relationship that she wanted with him. Jay, unknown to Corine, fell into a short depression and was genuinely upset that she broke up with him. He didn't show it to her because he didn't want to make things weird, but he certainly felt the pain. After a short cool down, Corine has felt her feelings for Jay come back out again, but the problem is, there's another girl, Layla Greene, who is trying to steal Jay's heart. Layla is doing everything that she can to possibly date Jay, but Corine is still trying her hardest to win him back. And with the final performance coming down, Corine and Layla, both equally talented in singing, are fighting for the senior singer spot in the program!

Siobhan Bailey is a simple girl who has this silly little crush on Mike Abott. She doesn't talk to him that much, but from what she knows, he is everything he wants. He's sweet, funny, kind, and has amazing eyes. There's just one thing standing in her way. She tried her hardest to make sure that no one knew about this crush of hers, but Emily Philips managed to make her way into Siobhan's life and screwed everything up. Emily makes sure that if she sees Siobhan with Mike she'll separate them somehow. Siobhan just thinks it's a coincidence, but later she finds out that all this hard work is on purpose. Mike is totally oblivious to Siobhan's feelings, and sooner or later will end up putting Emily in her place and pushing her out of his life, since they were best friends until she kept butting in.

The Sevani Sisters have been stuck together like glue since little Beatriz was born. Yohanna always wanted her little sister to get into writing, instead of anything else. Much to Yohanna's dismay, Beatriz got into Camp Real Cali for her talent in poetry. Beatriz's couselor, Renee has been a long time enemy of Yohanna because of many boy problems in the past (see the sub-plot underneath this). Renee knows that Yohanna hates that her sister is with her so Renee is trying to turn Beatriz against her sister. By being mingled in with the wrong crowd and by following in Renee's footsteps, the formerly innocent Beatriz is now becoming involved in things that she shouldn't.

Both Wyatt and Blake have been best friends since they were in middle school. Cameron Moore only met the two boys when he first went to Camp REal Cali in his junior year. The three had become friends over time, but then drama began happening when the female counselors started coming in. Wyatt dated Yohanna for a while before her cheated on her with Renee. The drama between the girls happened with this, but because of that problem, Yohanna tried to get back at her boyfriend by sleeping with Blake. Wyatt began fighting with Blake and they resolved that if they both cut off ties with the girls, everything will be alright between them, but their newest friend Cameron recently started having feelings for both Yohanna and Renee. The two other boys certainly aren't happy about this and the tension between the girls is higher than ever.

Todd knows perfectly well that she and Enzo are dating, but he intends to wiggle his way into their relationship and take the spot as Valorie's boyfriend.
